The Fisheries Information Nexus was developed by the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, with help from the Walton Family Foundation, to provide NGOs and related organizations better ways to find and share critical information to grow the market for sustainable seafood and to promote sustainable fisheries and aquaculture management around the world.

The Nexus is a starting point for researchers to share information useful to others, source hard-to-find data, find and connect with experts around the world and discuss current projects or the topics of the day. It is a community of select users who are expected to contributed as much high quality information as they take.

This is an ongoing project in its first release. Over time we hope to grow the community with new organizations and new regions of the world. Additional features will also be added in subsequent updates. We welcome your interest and feedback.
